This ultimate Vegan Rye Sandwich comes packed with delicious ingredients, tasty flavours and served inside our Rye & Wheat Bread, which is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Ready, veggie, go! Get a huge hit of plant-based power with this fully loaded Houmous & Avocado Vegan Sandwich. This vegan sarnie is one of the easiest, quickest and tastiest ways to get some delicious vegetables and other ingredients into one meal. Creamy houmous and avocado, red peppers and onions, fresh spinach and black olives, all housed in tasty slices of our Seeded Rye & Wheat Bread.

Looking for an extra kick – try adding some sriracha sauce on the top of you sandwich fillings.


  • 2 slices Baker Street Rye & Wheat Bread
  • 2 tbsp houmous
  • 2 tbsp guacamole
  • 1 red pepper, sliced into big chunks
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced,
  • Black olives, chopped
  • Spinach
  • Sriracha sauce (optional)


  1. Start by taking two slices of our Baker Street Rye & Wheat Bread and spreading 1 tablespoon of houmous onto each slice.
  2. Do the same with the remaining two rye bread slices, but this time spread 1 tablespoon of guacamole onto them (you can use avocado slices if you prefer).
  3. On the guacamole-topped rye bread slices, add some red pepper chunks, thinly sliced red pepper, chopped black olives and spinach leaves to your liking.
  4. At this stage, if you want to add some sriracha sauce, drizzle it over the top.
  5. Place the houmous-topped rye bread slices on top of your sandwiches, cut in half and serve.
