If you have a couple of Hot Dog Rolls and a slice of ham that need using up, this is a great way to make a quick snack with minimal ingredients.

These Pizza Fingers could be a great way to get the kids excited about lunch, dinner or an after-school snack. Why not get them involved by picking their own toppings.

TO MAKE A VEGAN ALTERNATIVE

Swap out the cheese for a vegan alternative instead, and add your favourite vegan toppings instead of the ham.

Ingredients

  • 2 Baker Street Hot Dog Rolls
  • 4-6 tbsp passata
  • A pinch of dried oregano
  • 4 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1 large slice ham, torn into small pieces
  • 5 or 6 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Few fresh basil leaves (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC fan / 200ºC conventional / Gas Mark 5.
  2. Open the pre-sliced Baker Street Hot Dog Rolls and lay them onto a baking tray. In a bowl, mix the oregano into the passata then spread onto the rolls.
  3. Divide the grated cheese (mozzarella, cheddar or a mix), ham and cherry tomatoes between the rolls then bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and turning golden.
  4. Sprinkle over a few basil leaves if you like before serving.
