We’ve taken inspiration from the classic Hunters’ Chicken dish and made it into one of our favourite things – a burger!

Featuring juicy chicken wrapped in bacon and smothered in melted cheese and smoky BBQ sauce, this Hunters Chicken Burger is served all inside a Baker Street Seeded Burger Bun.

Ingredients

  • 4 Baker Street Seeded Burger Buns
  • 4 small chicken breast fillets
  • 8 rashers streaky bacon
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • Lettuce
  • BBQ sauce

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C / 170°C Fan / Gas Mark 5
  2. Wrap two rashers of bacon around each chicken breast. Drizzle a little oil onto a baking tray and transfer the bacon-wrapped chicken fillets onto the tray. Cook in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked
  3. Once the chicken fillets are fully cooked, place a slice of cheese onto each chicken breast and return to the oven for a minute to allow it to melt
  4. Warm the Baker Street Seeded Burger Buns as per pack instructions
  5. To build your burger, pop some lettuce leaves onto the base of the bun and top with the cheesy bacon-wrapped chicken breast.
  6. Add a dollop of BBQ sauce on top before putting the lid on. Serve with potato wedges and an extra dollop of BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
