Our Pulled Pork Sloppy Joe Hot Dogs feature juicy BBQ pulled pork, tangy coleslaw and a spicy kick. And the best bit about them is that they’re served in our Jumbo Hot Dog Rolls, which is great for those with a hearty appetite!

If you fancy serving these in smaller portions, you could either use our Hot Dog Rolls instead, or slice up the Jumbo Hot Dog Rolls into smaller pieces. Just make sure whichever one you use, lightly toast them before adding in the ingredients. They will hold up better and they taste great toasted.

Our Sloppy Joe Hot Dogs are inspired by the American classic dish of a sandwich filled with minced beef in a tomato sauce, usually served in a burger bun. It’s quite a nostalgic dish for most Americans, as they would have grown up eating it and even had it served to them during lunch breaks at school.

We’ve opted to make a homemade coleslaw – with grated carrot and cabbage – but you could buy this to help save time. And using a read-to-heat pulled pork will also help reduce cooking time for these Sloppy Joe Hot Dogs, but you could also do this from scratch if you want to.

Pulled Pork Sloppy Joe Hot Dogs

We have also added a little spicy kick to finish off these Sloppy Joe Hot Dogs, with slices of fresh chilli added on top. But you can leave these off for those who can’t handle the heat.

So without further ado, grab your Jumbo Hot Dog Rolls, fire up the BBQ and get ready to impress your loved ones with these Sloppy Joe Hot Dogs!


  • 4 Baker Street Jumbo Hot Dog Rolls
  • 1 ready-to-heat pulled pork joint with BBQ sauce (or make your own)
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 1/6 red cabbage, very finely shredded
  • 1/6 green or white cabbage, very finely shredded
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives
  • 2-3 tbsps mayonnaise
  • Few slices fresh chilli, optional


  1. Heat the pulled pork according to the pack instructions.
  2. While the pork is heating, make the coleslaw by mixing the grated carrot, shredded cabbages and chives in a bowl. Add the mayonnaise according to how you like it then stir to combine.
  3. Warm the Jumbo Hot Dog Rolls in the oven for a few minutes to lightly toast them. Once they’re toasted, open them up – they’re pre-sliced to make it even easier to use.
  4. Shred the cooked pulled pork and mix in the BBQ sauce, then pile into the warm Jumbo Hot Dog Rolls. Spoon in some coleslaw and add a few chillies if you like it spicy.
