Christmas

The smells and tastes of a traditional Christmas market – what could be better, right? Well, how about enjoying those traditional snacks and festive treats without the crowds and bustle, right in the comfort of your own living room?

It’s The Tastiest Time Of The Year!
Our festive range is inspired by European Christmas traditional food, including stollen and the perfect combination of citrus and chocolate. Our stollen is made to an authentic German recipe where sweet marzipan and juicy raisins come together for the full Christmas flavour in every bite. What’s even better is that our Baker Street Stollen products are suitable for vegetarians.

Go On, Indulge Yourself!
Our Cake Truffles are definitely more of an indulgent Christmas treat for the adults. Similar to what you might see at a Christmas market – confectionery stalls piled high with truffles, candies and sweet – these bite-size truffles will instantly tell your tastebuds “It’s Christmas” in the first bite.

What Is
Stollen?
It’s made with a yeasted dough that’s traditionally made in a long, roundish oval shape. With a texture like a cake, stollen is flavoured with candied peel, dried fruit and warming seasonal spices.
…it’s coated in melted butter and rolled in lashings of icing sugar for a wonderfully sweet crust. Our stollen recipe is inspired by tradition and contains a sweet marzipan centre for an extra treat. It is Christmas, after all!
…was recorded in the year 1545, and has evolved from a hard, tasteless bread to the rich, sweet and soft stollen recipes we know and love today. Along with mince pies, Christmas cake and the traditional Christmas pudding, stollen has become one of the UK’s most beloved festive foods.
