The days are getting longer and the weather is getting (slightly) warmer – spring is finally coming! To get us ready for the new season we’ve come up with some delicious spring recipes that will have you all set for the brighter days ahead.
Spring Recipes: Easter Sandwich
Nothing says spring quite like Easter, so we’ve put all our favourite seasonal ingredients into one epic sandwich. With slices of ham, melted swiss cheese, boiled egg and lettuce, all served in toasted slices of Baker Street Seeded Sliced Loaf. If you’re really hungry, stack them high and make yourself a triple layer sandwich. Go on, you know you want to!
Spring Recipes: Spring Toast
The best thing about spring is all the bright colours as the flowers start to bloom. So why not make your lunch just as colourful? We’ve come up with three Spring Toast ideas using slices of our Baker Street Rye Bread to help brighten up your day.
Try pesto, mozzarella and radish for a classic combo with a bit of crunch. Or spread nut butter, raspberries and mint for a refreshing sweet treat. And add honey, feta and cherry tomatoes on top of our Rye Bread with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar for that sweet and savoury combo.
Spring Recipes: Heart-Shaped Toast
Start those spring mornings off with a little bit of love and make your loved one (or yourself) this heart-shaped egg toast. Using slices of one of our Baker Street Sliced Loaves, butter one side and cut a heart shape out the middle. Place the bread slice into a hot pan and crack an egg into the heart-shaped hole. Fry until the egg is cooked before serving.
Top tip from Baker Street: save the heart-shaped bit of bread that you cut out before as it is great for dipping into those running yolks!
